GT Automotive was founded on November 1, 1980. Originaly located in a small 2 bay shop on the corner of 5300South State Street, we quickly outgrew that building and moved several times in the Murray/Midvale area. In January of 2004 we made plans for a new shop in South Jordan and put the old place up for sale. It sold almost immediately to our neighbors so they could expand. We then began the process of procurring financing and building permits and in April of 2005 we opened the new shop for business.

It has been a real blessing for us, as we were busy the day we opened the doors and have remained so ever since. We are so grateful for all of our customers, especially those that stayed with us from the old location. We love the new building and our location in South Jordan.
